Prices

• Prices are sorted by the price before tax, from low to high. On category pages you can also sort by unit price (per gram, or per 100 mg of THC for edibles, beverages and tinctures) or by distance.
• The price we sort by is the store's listed price after any active store discount, plus any fee the store requires on every order.
• When two prices are the same, stores are listed in alphabetical order.
• Any "with tax" amount is an estimate. It's never used for sorting.

Prices we can't compare

• If we can't tell whether a menu price includes tax, or can't work out the price before tax, the price is still listed, but after the sorted prices and without a rank.
• Products without a size or potency we can compare are listed without a unit price.

Old prices

• Every price shows when it was last updated and where it came from.
• Prices more than 24 hours old are marked "May be out of date". They're sorted the same way as other prices.
• Prices more than 72 hours old aren't shown.

Tribal stores and medical-only items

• Tribal stores are listed and labelled "Tribal store", with the line "Not a state-licensed store" (labeling per counsel item #25). We don't show their prices.
• Items sold only to registered medical patients aren't shown in price lists.

Stores

• Store lists are sorted alphabetically by city, then by store name.
• If you choose "Sort by distance", stores are sorted by straight-line distance from you, worked out in your browser. Stores we can't place on the map go last.
• Whether a store is open, as far as we could confirm, is shown on the listing but doesn't change the order.

What never changes the order

• Payments, fees, partnerships or advertising. PerEighth has no paid placement, featured listings or sponsored results.
• Whether a store sends us its prices.
• Reviews, ratings or popularity.

Which stores we list

Stores in the state regulator's public license records (in Minnesota, the Office of Cannabis Management), and Tribal stores from each Nation's own published information. We don't list hemp shops. A listing isn't an endorsement.
